Q: When I launch Intellyweb the dialogs seems too small for the content. I can’t reach all the buttons.
A:
This happens when the DPI settings is set too large. To correct this do the following:
1. Right-click on your desktop
2. Choose properties
3. Click on the Settings tab
4. Click the Advanced button
5. Under DPI settings choose Normal Size (96 DPI)
6. Click OK
Q: How do I get more templates?
A: New templates are released regularly. By default Intellyweb will automatically look for templates for automatic download every time you publish. You can also do this manually under Funcitons>Template update options in the menu. You can also go to the member section and look for new templates to download. Some templates are released here exclusively.
Q: Can I put my projects anywhere on my hard drive?
A: Yes, a good rule is to keep your project and files in your "My Documents" folder.
(My Documents/My Intellyweb projects is default)
Q: Do I have to put my images into a specific folder before I use them?
A: No, Intellyweb will handle this automatically. You may even insert images from a "movable disk" such as a digital camera.
Q: Will I be able to hand over my project to another user to take over the website?
A: Yes, just email the project file along with you image-folder. A good way to do this is to compress the files with for instance ZIP.
Q: How many different projects can I have at the same time?
A: There are no limit to how many projects you can have.
Q: I have some videos that I want to share with others through my website, can I do this with Intellyweb?
A: Yes, you can add any type of file that you like to your website and simply make a link, to make them available for download.
Q: Isn’t it impossible to create a unique and personal look to your website when you are using the same templates as many others?
A: There are 100 templates shipped along with the software and we are continuously developing new ones. You can customize your web page by using images, symbols etc.

Q: I’m one of those persons who doesn’t get along with computers very well, could I really run my own website?
A: Yes, Intellyweb is developed and designed to fit the most inexperienced users. The Intellyweb software also comes with an educational help file and interactive tutorials with step-by-step instructions that leads you through every process in an authentic environment.
Q: I already have an existing website, could I manage this with Intellyweb?
A: Yes and no, you have to save the entire website onto your hard disk and then insert it to Intellyweb. This subject is included in the tutorials and can also be found under the "Tips and Tricks" section.
Q: How do I make my website appear in search engines?
A: The Intellyweb software allows you to easily enter meta information for each page. The meta information can be search terms and a description of the site, which is used by search engines.
Q: My images are really big, can I make my images fit into the templates without an external program?
A: Yes, you can either let Intellyweb resize the images automatically or you can do this manually using the built in image editor.
Q: Which image file types does Intellyweb support?
A: Intellyweb will recognize most common file types and if necessary, convert them into a web supported file type.
Q: I want to move a page to another position in the menu, can I do this without deleting the page and recreate it?
A: Yes, you can simply rearrange the menu by simply drag and drop the page to the desired position.
Q: How do I remove a page after its published on the Internet?
A: Simply remove the page in the editor and publish the site again.
